The College of Land Management has been taking the lead in land resource management education and research in China since its establishment in 1992. In 2003, the College of Public Administration was constructed with the College of Land Management as the mainstay (reserving the original institution of the College of Land Management). The College offers 4 doctoral programs in land resource management, Public Administration, educational economics and management, and labor and social security; 6 master programs in land resource management, Public Administration, educational economics and management, labor and social security, cartography and geographic information system, and population resource and environmental economics; 1 professional master degree program in public administration (MPA), and 5 undergraduate programs in land resource management, Public Administration, human geography and urban and rural planning (resources environment and urban-rural planning management), human resource management, and labor and social security. In recent ten years, the College has undertaken more than 170 international, national, and provincial research projects and over ¥62, 000, 000 scientific research funds, and published more than 1300 research papers (including about 30 SSCI papers). More than 10 scientific research achievements have obtained written instructions and comments by the central and provincial leadership.
