The database contains micro-data from over 28,000 households which has representativeness at national and provincial level. CHFS collected detailed information of China households’ asset and liability, income and expenditure, social insurance and welfare and other micro information. It tracks the dynamic and timely information on household financial behavior, and fills in the blank of household micro-finance fields in China. The research of household asset allocation, income distribution, credit availability of household and SMEs, housing market supply and demand, urbanization based on CHFS have attracted extensive attention from government, academic and society.  We welcome all researchers study China economics using CHFS data.
