报告人简介:
Dr. Dirk Strijker(1953) is professor in Rural Development ( theMansholt-chair) , and deputy chair of the department of Cultural Geography at the Faculty of Spatial Sciences of the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. He has his university degree in Agricultural Economics from Groningen and has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Amsterdam for a thesis on the influence of the EU agricultural policy on the spatial patterns of agricultural production. He published on various subjects, especially on the economic and spatial aspects of agriculture and agricultural policy, andthe relations between agriculture, nature and rural development, and on topics related to sense of place. He has professional relations with many researchers and research related institutions all over the world. He is honorary visiting professor Rural Development at University of Lincoln, UK; Member National Selection committee LEADER, Member Northern Agricultural Discussions; Chairman StichtingKennis van het Noordelijke Platteland;
Dr.Yongjun Zhao is associate Professor in Integrated Rural-Urban Development and Governance with the Department of Cultural Geographyat the Faculty of Spatial Sciences of the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.From September 2018 onwards, he is the International Cooperation Adviser serving the Faculty Board. Dr. Zhao’s research is focused on the social and institutional dimensions of integrated rural and urban development, environmental governance and natural resource management, concerning in particular the interface between land use planning, land tenure, public participation, civil society engagement and public-private partnership in development and environmental planning processes and rural-urban governance in China. The other pillar of his research is China's role in international development especially in Africa in the agricultural and urban development sectors from aid effectiveness, sustainable development planning and governance perspectives.
