报告人简历:
Dr. Wegulo holds a PhD degree in Economic Geography, from Clark University, USA since 1993. He is the former Director of Board of undergraduate Studies, and School of Continuing Education, and College of Open and Distance Learning, at Egerton University, Kenya. Now, he is a professor of Economic Geography of Department of Geography. His research interests focus geographically on sub-Saharan Africa, East Africa and Kenya, and thematically on rural regional development; urban development and planning, the role of small and medium industries in development, and social science research. These researches were supported by many funds including from World Bank. Dr. Wegulo and his team members have kept a tight and long steady collaboration relationship with Western University, Ontario Canada.
