报告简介:

Humanity faces a grand challenge as we seek to enhance food production, improve livelihoods, and preserve ecosystem services. Ongoing transformations in socio-environmental systems make it imperative to understand how to achieve the twin goals of human wellbeing and environmental sustainability. Using the example of large-scale land transactions, commonly known as ‘global land rush’ or ‘land grabbing,’ this talk discusses how to use spatial science to examine the human-environment interactions and analyze their sustainability outcomes from local to global levels.
